Hi all,

Did a search but didn't find an answer to the following.

I need to make a project box in which I can fit an additional 5 12-volt sockets (2 cigarette lighter sockets and 3 higher quality ones) for additional equipment (car PC, screen, etc). Can someone help me for a wiring scheme for this setup? Additionally I would like to have a powered hub in the box, which needs 5V/3A.

Note: the unit will be hard wired to a second battery in a Mitsubishi Pajero 2000 (similar to Montero in the US). Don't think brand and make of the car are of any imporatnce though.

Henk

Wire them all in parallel- all positives together to the positive terminal, all negatives together to the negative terminal.

My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
