The www.emachineshop.com website?

By the way, from what I know, Steve Brown is a good guy.  Although he is one of the premier designers and fabricators in the industry.  If you talked to him, he would tell you how he did it.  Most don't want to lend their techniques out.

His phone number is on his website.

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

What happened to your link in the first post?  The Karmann shot is gone.

I am trying to find a way to conceptual the plexiglass roof with it looking like the factory. I am actually trying to think of how to draw it right.
I should have something up, in a another hour or less. it is 7:00PM PST right now.

Turtle, does your Ghia have windows? If not are you going to install some.
The way I am going to sketch this will not have plexi as windows, not sure if that if what you want.

I do not have windows. I want the roof to be like the delorean style so they swing up towards the middle.
I will have to see exactly how long the top of the window, to the rear support beam is, how long from the bottom of the window, to the back of the support beam is, how wide the front is from bottom of window to the other window, how wide the back support beam is, and all the angles....
Also, remember, the original Karmann Ghia had 4 seats. Notice, mine has 2 seats. Here is a bunch of photos so you can see the car from all angels:

Could you also snap some shots that show behind the seat, with that being the area where the mechanical items will go.

Turt, I would also suggest installing windows, so you have a way to ventilate your car, power windows seems easy, may have to create custom door panels.  "Mustangfoo" and "slimmatic" already have threads and pictures of their progress if you need reference.

I am not going to install windows, as the body work on the car is emaculant (the window seals were fiberglassed over) and the car paint is extremely expensive (chameleon). I am ONLY going to put the plexiroof on when it rains. I have plenty of trunk space to put the roof when it is not raining, and when I see rain, I pull over, get the roof out and attach it. There is NO WAY I will drive with the plexiroof on in 105 degree Texas weater.
