it dotn matter which way they are both correct. just need to see how a relay will work.

ohh ok . my 30 shows ground but ur 87 is ground. so you mean if its reversed u connected it that way.

Do you connect the 12volt for the relay to the main power on the ignition harness or to the main power that connects to the alarm that wire then connects to the ignition harness.that wire got a fuse on it

What about the horn output do you need a relay? I cant find the horn output what to do now?

hitech alarm goes off when armed when opening doors but when I armed it while in the car and released the dome light wire the alarm does not go off why is that.
this is on a 92 mazda 929.

You mean you sit in the car....arm the unit...and turn the dome light on and the alrm doesn't go off? BUT, it does go off when you open the door? I don't see the problem?

so when the car is armed and you open the door from the outside it goes off. but when I arm it while im inside the car and I push the dome light button on the door to make the domelight turn off and if I release the button the lights comes on but the alarm does not sound off. I thought the alarm is detected by the dome light?

when arming the alarm siren is low I can still hear it chirp but its very low. and it goes off without any problem but its low with no crackling sound from the siren what happen?

Check your ground. I had the same problem and it turned out it was a crappy ground leading to the brain. But be sure to check the brain's ground, the siren's ground. Check all positive connections, too.
