I Have a ford premium sound system.
Its a Ford tape deck. I got a 4ch amp for it but i diden't get the ford bypass plug for it i just cliped all the wires and took the factory amp out
i bought 2 line out converters for it and i had a digram i found on the internet here
Ford premium sound system -- posted image.
my question is
Everything is hooked up corectely but i got VERY low sound comming out of the speakers i have the level on the amp up and the level on the line out converters up.
I bareley hear anything on the speakers when i turn the radio volume all the way up.
now on that digram there a connector label radio ON am i suppose to have power going to that connecter or is that power comming out of that connector?
thanks!

What you should do is on the output side of the OEM amp you will find the speaker wires for all your speakers and hook up the appropriate wires to the speakers from this point. If you grabbed the signal before the OEM amplifier this will give you the low level signal. If you grab the wires after the OEM amp, you will have the high level signal.

or i belive he could just solder the ends for rca's right onto the output of the radio in this case and that would give him the low outputs, skip the converter.. i belive you are trying to take low level outs and then run them threw a converter droping them even more.
