Ok I currently run two alpine 10 type r's on a a kenwood 600 that I have running at two ohm stereo. Sounds good but these subs are thirsting for more power. SO I am thinking the audiobahn a8002t or a8002v to run 400 rms per sub or a lanzar opti1400d amplifier. Please help me out guys. I am really having trouble deciding.

Well, the Audiobahn (or the new Lanzar, too) is NOT where you want to go for a "good one ohm stable amp". End of story. Good and Audiobahn are contradictions in terms, and shouldn't even be uttered in the same sentence together.
A better suggestion would be a stereo amp that is rated for the RMS power of your woofers, at their impedance. You are saying 2 ohms, and at 2 ohms any respectable amp rated 500 watts per channel would do FAR better than ANYTHING from Audiobomb. Keep the impedance up, your amp will run cooler, and last longer, the distortion will be lower, damping will be higher.
BUT, if you insist on running at 1 ohm, look at Memphis (at 550 watts per woofer). Decent amplifiers, and from what I know, prices are OK, too. Another option for the 2 ohm load would be Zapco (at 360 watts per woofer). The DC750.2 More expensive, but also more worth it... Both of these products are VERY conservatively rated pieces of gear. Look also toward Eclipse. Wire one voice coil to each channel of that baby, and you'd SWEAR you had all the power you were looking for in the AB. Super clean, super cool, and also conservatively rated.
ANY of those amps will spank Audioburn, in both reliability and sound quality. The 'bahn stuff are really just flame sportin', chrome plated turds.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

I mostly agree with haemphyst except for the part about getting a class A/B amp. There are some multi channel amps out now with whats called ICEpower class D. Eclipse and alpine are the only ones that I know of so far who are doing this. The technology is amazing. Somehow they made a class D amp sound just as good as A/Bs. The bonus is the efficiency is better than a normal class D.

I think you were thinking AB meant A/B class amplifier... Nope. That's AudioBahn... Sorry. The Zapco was the only Class AB amplifier in the group, and I'd have ANY zapco, pretty much any day, over pretty much ANY other amplifier. Sure, for a subwoofer, he might not NEED that quality of amplifier, I was just tossing it out there, though. Need a good one ohm stable amp -- posted image. (The notable exception to this would be, in fact, the old school Nakamichi amplifiers...)

For decent raw power you can look towards the MTX TA7801 which is 1 ohm stable and can put out about 1500 watts as well. Just my 2c's

Concept also makes a great 1 ohm stable amp. The CCD1210 might interest you.

My vote is for the Memphis 1000D...only because I've had experience with this amp...reliable and still runs cool at 1 ohm...I mean after an hour of hard playing you can still hold your hand on the amp and it feels warm

Thanks for all the input guys. But I didnt want to go AB class really cause I here its harded on the electrical system. But some people ar etelling me Lanzar optidrive series is good. I was looking at the 1400d. Anyon eever heard or know anyone running this amplifier. Its supposed to do 1000rms at 1 ohm.

Operative phrase here: SUPPOSED TO DO! It won't.
I told you already, my personal opinion would be NO LANZAR. The new stuff is on a par with the Audiobahn stuff - all flash, and no fire. A few years back, it was decent stuff, but never great.
In the amps I recommended above, the only Class A/B amp was the Zapco, the others ARE Class D.
If you think that a Class D, at 1000 watts is going to be THAT much easier on your electrical system you are sadly mistaken. A 1000 watt Class A/B will pull about 20 more amps than would a Class D amp of equivalent output power. At 1000 watts, even a Class D amp is going to require a high output alternator, you have no choice in the matter.
Don't get hung up on the amplifier class, by the time you get to those output levels, it wont matter...

Say no to Lanzar in case you would like a second professional opinion.
