Ok I finally gave in and went with the hifonics BX1205D. Is there any difference in the 05 model and 06? Anyways it says it makes 1200rms at 1ohm but most bench tests say that it goes a little over 1000 rms with most stock electrical systems so. I have a stock electrical system in my 2001 infiniti i30 so I do not want to change the alternator because of warranty issues. B ut I have seen nothing but good reviews for this amp. Give me some input guys!

OK, you never listed HiFonics as an option, but NO, that's not much better than the Audiobahn or the Lanzar...
Had you mentioned that one in the first place as one of the amps you were considering, I'm sure you would have heard MORE responses like this.
You asked, you didn't list all the amps you were considering, you got a list of VERY reliable, and very honestly rated amplifiers, and then you still went with some other crappy amp, the one you never listed... Enjoy. ...and best of luck with that...
Oh, and by the way? You are GOING TO HAVE TO CHANGE THE ALTERNATOR! You will not have much choice with 1000 watts. That is at least 120A more than your stock system was ever designed to sustain. Warranty? If you put that in, and blow your stock alternator and ECU, your warranty will be null and void from the get-go. Again, best of luck with that.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Well we shall see. I had an audiobahn a2150hc which is 1200 rms at one ohm and two 12" audiobahn subs of 700 watt rms each. Never had a problem with my stock alternator or anything. And I only had a capacitor in there that waws 5 farads.
