I am putting an AVIC-N1 in a 2002 Dakota. Can someone explain how I go about triggering the factory amp?
How is it normally done? Also can anyone confirm the amp trigger wire color too?
Any help is appreciated.

Find the factory blue wire, that is the amp trigger. Wire it to the accessory power (+'ve) and the amp will turn on with the ignition.
