The starter wire from the remote starter goes to the violet wire of the PLXR. The ignition wire from the remote starter goes to the vehicles WHITE/ green wire in the ignition harness and the pink wire for the PLXR. You don't use a second ignition wire. Hook the accessory wire from the remote starter to the WHITE/ red wire in the ignitin harness. Program the PLXR for mode 3 which should be default if it hasn't been used before.

Do I need to use the starter disable relay? I'm thinking not since there isn't a starter wire to install it on?

I just got my remote start installed in my 05 Canyon. It works great I used the PLXR bypass with it.
My question is if I start the truck with the remote starter then turn it off also by the remote the stereo stays on until a door is opened. So if I started the truck one day and then decided that I was not going to go anywhere and turned it off by the remote the stereo would stay on and most likely drain the battery. What can I do to stop the retained accessory if turned off by remote or does it only stay on for so lon

It should only stay on for about 15mins or so...

I see, I have never really tried it out so that's why I was wondering. Thanks.
