hi guys - just looking for a bit of advice regarding my wrx my94 impreza.
I have an avital maxx1 fitted and would like the dome light to come on when I kill the alarm, and then stay on until I turn the ignition key. As far as I am aware, the maxx1 does not have a dome light output, just a wire that connects to the dome light circuit to let it know when a door is open. I've done an extensive search of these forums but cannot find an answer. Any help would be much appreciated.

according to the avital brochure and the installation instructions, the MAXX1 does NOT have dome light supervision output, the MAXX2 and MAXX3 have. The MAXX1 has a green wire as you say, but this is only the neg trigger to detect a door open - someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
What I want to do is rig up a system where the neg unlock trigger/pulse will switch on the domelight, which in turn will switch off when I start the car.
somebody help please!!!

just checked out the downloads but I couldn't find the maxx1 as I wanted to compare the install notes - every other avital is there though I think it may have another name in the states, I'm not sure
