im doing a 5900 viper im got everything all done but i cant find the data wire. i think that y i cant get the xk510 to program any help thanks

i found out it the green wire but i cant program the bypass anyhelp

Gotta bury a key in that one right... after the loops are around, just try to RS the truck... It should.. if not play with the loops... The door lock portion, wire violet to pin 1 on the odb port.. connect the harness and stick a key in the ign.. should program.. should be firmware gmdl6 1.0 if it doon't work try re-flashing iit...

i will try that the obd2 wire is green i will try what you said and let you know the what happen thanks for the info

i  try that but no lock  programing it so im going to call the tech up in the am. do you know y i have no starter kill i cut the starter wire and put the 1300 resitor in to the starter side and when it is arms it will start but the alarm will go off

Sorry, but I'm unframilar with the viper [dei stuff] nd don't have my data base on this PC... sounds like somthng is aray.. I've always done a hybrid tx bypass and a door lock disarm bypass on these. [cost more but works better... ] After a lucern I did , I just removed the resistor and the hybrid bypass worked great... the one with the key... well I havnt had the best of luck with.... I'll be back on in the am, so give me a shout...

they sent me the wrong firmware for the bypass kit from what i under stand is that there is the all in one xk510 that will loose a key but you dont want to loose a key you can used the xk06 for the key and the xk01 for the locks and everything else thanks for the help
