usually you dont ground the brown wire or even connect it until after the module is programmed.... they can be finnicky... just plug it in and try to advance past 1 flash a few times if need be.....

OK. I figured out how to get the bypass to change types etc.
The viper systems seems to be working, door lock and unlock, shock sensor, trunk, horn, etc.
When i try to remote start the system, it does all of its clicking etc.
The dash lights come on, doors lock, it does that 2 or 3 times, then stops. Then the horn chirps and the doors lock once more, and the viper remote beeps. I assume the remote beeps cause of no-start.
If i repeat that process with the key in the ignition turned to the run position. The Viper starts the car fine.
I'm thinking it is still a bypass problem..?
I rechecked my wiring and everything checks out, according to the diagrams I have.
The only thing is the status output wire, there is a blue/white one from the main Viper unit, and another blue one from the aux harness on the relay satellite.
Thanks.

well yeah if the key is on and its starts you're good to go on the remote start of it...with the key in the on but not start position plug the by pass in....it will blink once.... set it to blink "two"....then hold the button til it comes on solid....start the vehicle...you will get confirmation...then turn off the key....done  ;)

this stuff used to be so much easier when factory alarms did not exist....
