Goodevening ladies and gents,

Sorry I haven't posted in a while but I have been (and still will be until April 07) in Iraq, so obviously I haven't had much time to do glasswork 04 Acura RSX, sub box -- posted image.

. I did however manage to score a 2004 Acura RSX (not lucky enough to score the Type S though).

I have already purchased the bodykit and fenders and they're just sitting inside my garage waiting for my return, but my question is to you:

Have you (or your shops) done any fiberglassing to an RSX? and if so can I bother you for some pics? I am trying to get ideas fo a sub-box that won't take up that much room seeing as how the car is fairly small to begin with and I have twins 2 year old girls.

'ppreciate any help, I have been searching all of the sites (cardomain, carsnrides, rankmyride, etc.) and have gotten a couple of ideas but I figured someone on here has HAD to do an RSX...they're only the coolest cars alive...gosh.

I Would Like to thank you and others for fighting for our country ( USA) it really does Mean alot to me and Others. If thats the least I can do to help you for standing up for our country I will keep my eyes open for you some pics.

There's an amp rack I was working on a few years ago for my RSX, but I got rid of the car before I was fully finished...but there's tons of room in those back corners of that car, plenty of room to do something nice.

I agree. The liberal media likes to defame our military's hard work and claim that we're fighting a losing battle...but that's a huge kick in the nuts to our hard working military. Keep up the good work. Just because the pessimists speak louder doesn't mean everybody is against you.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. I no longer watch the news because they portray the war in such a negative aspect, but I guess it's one of those things that media is notorious for. I am personally having a great time over here, I get to see the difference we make and the reason we are over here doing what we do everytime I go out and an Iraqi citizen thanks me.

Techmaster - you do some awesome work, I like how you can pull the whole panel out and keep your amp rack attached to it. So I take it judging by the size of that amp/cap that the pockets in there are deep. That's good, could probably fit a good 12 or two in there. Thanks for the pics, keep 'em coming.

Bomex_eclipse - hey Matt, thanks for the support bro, times get hard out there but I only got 4 more months left before I can drive my RSX lol. Take it easy bro and happy holidays to everyone on here, just say a little something for my fellow Soldiers, Sailors, Airman, and Marines who are with me out here and can't be with their families this Christmas.

Oh and eat the S*** out of some Christmas ham for me!

Ah, techmaster, you are a wise man. I will be willing to second your theory on maturity; I too have learned from experience, I have spent alot of money replacing parts that were broken (half the times the ones I wasn't even working on) out of anger.

So what can you pass on from experience with the RSX? to be honest, I haven't even looked at the car yet, it's being driven by my wife in Texas.

Do you have any parts from your RSX leftover that you would be willing to sell?

Actually I have a neuspeed strut tower brace I need to get rid of. It's black and in perfect condition. Made a bigger difference in the tightness of the steering than what I expected. The RSX is a great car, you can beat the hell out of it and it will stay fairly reliable. It's very easy to work on, and it's easy to run wire in too. Great car for aftermarket sound. The one major weakness of the car is its seats, especially if they're leather. I'll put it this way: Honda/Acura leather sucks. It gets cracked way too easy, and is paper thin. Other than that, the seats themselves are very uncomfortable. But I do miss the car. It was fun. ;)

looks sweet bro, what did you trade it in for? How much are you asking for that strut brace? I can't wait to get started on my project. I am going to go with a false floor over the spare tire with a circle cut in so you can see the spare rim and fiberglass the subs into the sides, maybe throw a monitor or two in there...who knows. I have already purchased the buddy club 2 body kit and F-1 fenders for it. I got the cloth interior but it's either coming out for racing seats or will get Katzkin leather conversion...not too sure yet. I see that you replaced your stock HU with an aftermarket; did you have to purchase a install trim kit or does the RSX need one?

Well, let me know what you're asking for that strut tower bar and about that HU upgrade.

The HU doesn't need any special kit. You can just buy a regular scosche honda civic wiring harness from walmart for about $5, and the head unit itself will bolt right in, with no trim pieces needed. I could probably do $75 for the bar. Paid twice that and it's in perfect condition.
