06 ford ranger, alarm

Ok I have a ford ranger with built in passive immobilize

is there any point in hooking up the starter interupter relay of my alarm if i already have the passive immobilzer.

Not really. The only thing you would have to be worried about is if they got a hold of a key that will start your vehicle.
