I hooked up my 791 in a base 03 RSX. I also added two window modules 530t for my windows and sunroof. My question is, is there anyway to disable the shock sensor while remote starting the vehicle? Or is it supposed to be disabled while I remote start and I just didnt hook up something correctly?

on the shock senser wire there is a blue or green wire it needs to be connected to the blue w/white, on the harness that has the tach wire in it.

Do I need to add a relay? and is it the green wire or the blue wire on the shock sensor harness? Or does it not matter which one?

Hey on a side note be real careful cause the 791 is not designed for a manual and I have seen crap happen so many times. Funny thing is I saw it happen to a guy just yesterday morning outside my house.

WHAT THE . . .? Why would you want to short out the signal wires with a status signal?

Actually, the 504D shock sensor is automatically disabled when remote starting. It's 4 pin plug connects directly into the brain and everything is done automatically. Make sure the loop at one end of the cable is connected into the shock and not into the brain.

Are you sure it's the shock? What else do you have? a 508D? a 507D?

I bet it isn't even the shock and that you're just assuming. What zone does the LED on the dash show?

Prepare your future. It wasn't the lack of stones that killed the stone age.

Do NOT do the above. This guy has no idea what he is talking about.
The shock sensor is automatically disable when remote starting. Something else is causing the problem.
