Installing a Remote start / Keyless entry in a Caynon 5 spd, as indicated by the title. need help to find a few things.
1st off the unit is a Alert, model number ******* (sorry didnt have it at the time of the post)
The system is selectable between automation transmission, and Manual transmission.
I need to locate a nuetrul safety switch,
A quick diagram for wiring around the Clutch safety switch,
Also the vehicle is equipt with manual locks, so ill be adding in the actuators, but i believe this vehicle in particular has cable door locks, and a nasty molex connector in the A pillar, any suggestions on getting that installed will be greatly appreciated as well
the rest of the installation is complete, and awaiting these wires, and locks. thanks in advance.

There's not nuetral safety on this vehicle so you will need to hook up the wire to the hand brake. Now the clutch you will need to test at the clutch switch. Find the wire that will change polarity when the vehicle is started. Most likely it will be a (+) trigger but check to be sure.

Thank you, Also i daisy chained, and diode isolated the hood pin shut down wire, with the E brakes negative signal, seemed like a short cut opposed to trying to find the +brake lamp wire, but with this unit im left with a thin black wire that is requesting ground, can you think of any other precautionary measure for this application, or would perminatly grounding this wire be recommended?

BRAKESWITCH Lt.blue At switch above brake pedal   +

I would suggest NOT bypassing or looking for an easier way to get around the brake wire....It's VERY important. The way you have it hooked up is incorrect.

The black wire......what is it for?

LOCK Lt.blue In driver's kickpanel or BCM   -
These wires can also be found at the BCM in the passenger side kickpanel.
UNLOCK Dk.Blue In driver's kickpanel or BCM   -
These wires can also be found at the BCM in the passenger side kickpanel.

adding actuators to this vehicle is not as bad as it looks. the doors have 2 tem mils per hinge and the door lifts right off. I took the door off and set it on a chair next to the vehicle. unplug the molex and weasel wires through hard grommet. If I remember correctly, I drilled holes in the connector in an open pin space and got the wires through. then I attached the actuator bar to the actual latch in an open hole. I know it sounds bad, but really wasn't. as far as the manual trans, DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME! wire up all required inputs to make manual starter function safely!
