I second on the PKH3 from trilogix, (or you can use 556H.)
the 555U and 556U require for you to give up a key. (not recommended)
You can go ahead and use the 556U if you want to leave your key in the box. (mmuch cheaper to get a keyless type, plus much safer)
the 555I will get you nowhere
Note: You Always Dont Get What You Pay For.

I don't mind leaving the key in the car. So I have the 556U, is okay then to use it with say the audiovox 2-way APS-997? Thanks.

I'm about to install the Hornet 564T remote start alarm on my Acura RSX 02. However, the car has factory alarm. I located the brain  under the wheel. Can I just unplug the brain to make the unit stop working and proceed to install the new alarm? Or how should I go about this? Thanks.

There should be a pink/blue at the factory alarm that will disarm the system and will also unlock doors. I wouldnt unplug the system though.

nevermind that pink/blue i listed above.....at the module there will be a white wire, this will be your factory disarm. This needs to be hooked up to the h2/6 lt. GREEN/ black wire on your 564t. This will disarm the alarm on unlock and remote start......if it happens to get armed.

HI, just finished installing the DEI hornet 564T alarm with the12volt's wire guidance. After I arm the system, I have to hit the glass ver very hard to turn on the alarm. I adjusted the stinger doubleguard shock sensor 504 to max ( button turn closewise correct?) but it doesn't help at all. Am I missing something? The shock came with 4 wires, but only 3 are used. The green wire is in a loop with the blue wire?? Make sense? Help please .

How did you mount the sensor? The DEI impact sensors actually work best when zip tied to a harness, and NOT mounted to a solid surface.
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.
