Wow... I'm surprised that you guys say that the new VW's and new Dodge's are hard ?? I find that the New VW's are very easy to do especially with the CANSL2 modules that gives you pretty much everything required for alarm & remote start.
Believe it or not the only vehicle that I've gave up on doing is a 1986 VW Golf diesel ( with a Chevy alternator ). The other vehicle that took me a long time to do was a Volvo V70 ( first Volvo ever for me )

I dont think he dodges are hard, they just have too many issues going on... stupid little things...My arch rival is a 95 pontiac grand prix hardest car to do a remote start? - Page 2 -- posted image. LOL.. I did this car for a friends sister [never fails] but it has some serious issues. VATS is bypassed correctly, but sometimes will not start with RS and sometimes it wont start with the key.. and sometimes the park lites wig out and the brake pedal when applied makes a very odd sound and won't always shut down the RS.. I must have done 40 of these cars the same way, but this one just hates me! Anyone have a gas can and a match!

I find the jeep grand cherokee 05-06 and magnums are a pain the ass if you arent using any type of data interface.  If you go the route of using relays its very time consuming.

If anyone has sucessfully installed a remote start into a late model Audi A8 or Q7 post how you did it , and what you used. I would gladly give my first born (if I had a wife and kids) for this info.

Thanks

I did an 03 Ram 2500 the other day... wasnt in effect all that bad other than the 2 sources i have for wiring information were both screwey, this truck had like 4 acc wires, 3 igns, 1 crank, 3 12volts, it was the weirdest dodge ive done... lots of relays. and a few dash indacators later... all works good.

Rather then posting what is difficult or a PITA, lets get a list going of what anyone has found impossible to do, like I have with those Audis (late A8's and Q7's)..this way if someone has figured it out and can post, it would be a real help.

Thanks

I would agree that the 05 Malibus and the 07 Dodge Calibers are time consuming and real tight space to work at.
