Hey guys have a 2005 gmc canyon want to put an alarm remote start want to use the relay set up because can't find a bypass module. is the passlock resistance the same for the 04 thru 06? I've checked the resistance from the WHITE/ blue to WHITE/ yellow and it reads 5.47 on my digital meter is this 5400ohm resistor that I need?thanks for the help.

Here is the bypass you need... PASSLOCK-SL2 . You can also use DOC 1603 which can be found in a search on this website.

if the meter is reading in kilo-ohms, then 5.47 is 5400 ohms, yes (looks for the kOhm designation on the DMM)

thanks guys for the info. everything turned out ok with the 2 relay set up, I just left the status output unplugged so it wasn't triggering the second relay but after I plugged it in it started like a champ.thankz again.
