I am not competing with anyone, I am sponsered through maximum spl outta ashland, ky though. These pics are older so I don't have the extra 2 subs and four amps. My 12 batteries are not in yet and i have one of the two alternators. We tore the dash out today and are getting ready. The subs and amps should be in later on this week I can get more pics. Everyone that has walked in has been shocked. He has everything together for that reason.

KY eh.  Oh well I had hoped you might be on the West Coast somewhere.  Please post up some pics and results from a sanctioned comp.  Cheers!

the other subs and amps came in today so now all i am waiting on is the receiver and batteries plus other alternator. My dealer had already plugged one into a wall and it did not pop. don't know how long though, say a minute or so. Gonna frame out the wall today. Will have pics later

The whole "plugging a speaker into the wall' thing is really tired.  I've said it before and I'll say it again: household wall voltage is 120V @ 60Hz.  Assuming a 4-ohm speaker this is equivalent to 3600 watts.  POS speakers will fry.  Big whoop.

One trick Dan Wiggins once told me about that works with some subs is to design the enclosure to where the impedance curve peaks at 60 Hz. This means that there would only be like 50 watts going to the sub in some instances which will run all day long on a wall outlet.
