How about for $316 a PAIR, SHIPPED?!?!? That'll leave you $484 for installation, wire, parts, damping, and maybe a little bit of an upgrade to your amplifier!
The TCSounds drivers are FANTASTIC sound quality woofers, AND will play loud! Check the TC1000 line, VERY inexpensive for the performance, I rate the bang-for-the-buck around 11, on a scale of one to ten!
I rave about these drivers so much, because they truly ARE fantastic drivers for the money. They work well in small sealed and medium (DEEP tuned) vented enclosures. They are worth looking into!
What do you think about the tc-2000 12's, in a sealed 1.2cu enclosure.

It has the same specs as my 1501d. looks like it's the same amp just with a different heat sink

Replaceable Top Assemblies:
Top assemblies are replacements for damaged drivers. All of our new drivers have detachable top assemblies. In the case of damage, they can be easily replaced in a matter of just minutes. All of our assemblies come fully assembled and ready to install onto existing motors. Our assemblies are strictly for our own products and can not be used on any of our OEM products or products other than the specific drivers they are designed to be used for because they physically will not install. If you have an older TC Sounds driver and you would like to have it repaired, please contact us and arrange for shipping. We can repair any of our older drivers if and only if we originally built them, and we will be more than happy to give you a quote. For warranty information pertaining to damaged TC Sounds drivers that may require a new top assembly or otherwise, please read our warranty process for information and procedure.

For one, or two of them? Not enough additional "bang for the buck" in my book, especially considering the power you have on hand. A better match, for the power avaialble is definitely the 1000's. If you had twice the amp, I'd definitely say go for it, but...
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
