I dont have a LOC..but just LOCs in general i didnt know that some came with a remote wire..but how would i get power to the LOC do i have to wire it to my switched 12v wire..?

If it is an active unit with a line driver than yes, you would have to power it and turn it on from your remote signal wire.

Again the owners manual is your friend. What exactly are you doing that you are asking all of these questions. you don't have a line out converter, but you are hooking one up to a non specific car?

No..I just want to learn how to install car audio systems for when I get my own car..I'm 16 and will be getting my car at the end of summer I don't know what car I'm going to get yet..so If I know how to hook up car audio just in general I should be able to do it with any car..all I would need would be a wiring diagram for the car.
