i have to agree that JL is one of the best. what other company doesnt change thier subs EVERY year!? isnt the w7 like 5 years old now?

Ok so ive narrowed my choices down to the MTX Thunder Elite TE1501D amp, Kicker ZX1500.1, and the Kenwood Excelon X1R amps. Which one would you choose?

OP: TC makes awesome drivers. The W7 series, as said, is about the only real competition on your list, and it comes in second.

Hmm. That's nice that you have an opinion. Too bad it's dead wrong.

I've met Thilo, the namesake of the company you're bashing. I've been involved with custom driver development off and on for years. The stoke they give is real. It can be done by lots of companies. I've got a good friend who is currently sourcing drivers from China with a real live DUMAX certified 2.5" LINEAR Xmax, with an Xsus closer to 3.5" for home theater subwoofers. You might want to read up a little on current driver technology. A lot's changed since 1997.

Well im glad i got my TC-3000. have yall seen the prices now. There outrageous! But they come with a LIFETIME WARRANTY! But yea heres wat my setups going to look like tell me what ya think:

1- TC- 3000 Quad Voice Coil

1-Kicker ZX1500.1 amp

1-Kicker ZX650.4

2 pair of Rockford Fosgate 6.5inch components T162S

Still undecided about what deck im going to get.

From the TC website.

TC Sounds online drivers are being discontinued. We have only a few left, and once they are gone, they are gone. We will however support and service all of these drivers indefinitely as TC Sounds is not going away. The remaining drivers being sold at a discount will carry a 1 year warranty. TC Sounds will be launching a brand new line of drivers shortly but they will not be sold online.
