bridged hcca 225

I have a 1st gen Orion HCCA 224 and an older Audiocontrol 2XS with bridging. The sub I'm running is a KickerL7 2ohm DVC into one terminal to 1 ohm. To bridge do I run the RCAs into the Audiocontrol, out of the bridging positions and into the amp? This seems easy enough, but the outputs of the amp are 4 cables for two channels. Which of the cables do I attach to my terminals? Tried to research is and it doesn't seem like a common sense thing to me Also, which amperage fuse should I run from the battery to the power? I know there are calculators to find that but I don't know what my amp will actually put out at 1 ohm bridged. Thank you, rguy

If it does have the RCA jacks on the amp, run the normal out of the AudioControl piece to the left input. Run the invert out to the right channel.  Orange will be    +    and Yellow will be     -     From what I remember a 30 amp fuse should do just fine. 

alright, it does have RCA input on the amp, so I'll try the orange as + and yellow as -. Thanks!

That is Orange + and yellow - if you connect normal to left and inverted to right.

Everything is now hooked up, and I get a super loud low tone. I ran an ipod with rcas right in front of my xover (bridging unit), and the bass plays fine. I assume nothing is "wrong" with my amp, xover, or sub. Now I don't know where to go next. I need a better ground, ground HU in same place as amp, etc. I don't have a lot of time, and who wants to mess with stuff that isn't a necessary step? It takes almost 25 minutes to tear apart my honda dash to get to the radio, so I'd like to avoid that if possible.. What does everyone think?

Sony mid-level unit CDX-GT610UI. The rca's are used, but I don't think are especially cheap

Take a short piece of wire, ground one end and touch the other end to the shield of the patch cord.  Behind the radio is the better place to do this.  If it is hard to get the deck out, it can be done on the input cable of the XOver.  If this makes the noise go away, your radio is the bad component.   Let us know what happens.
