That means it's on ALTERNATING SENSE mode. Change it over to tach sense and grab the tach wire instead. The only Honda that I've ever had to use the alternator sense function on was the 2006 Honda Civic because the injectors and the coil didn't produce a consistent tach output that the Compustar unit could use. The 2005 Accords have the tach wire in a very easy spot to get to so I don't know why they didn't grab the tach wire ??

Ok guys,
The tach wire is not installed. I tried turning on ignition controlled door locks, (1-09) #3 and nothing happened. I also tried option (1-09) #2 and nothing happened. So I'm not too sure what this installer did, but it seems he cut some corners on the install itself.
I adjusted the crank time to +0.2 on option (2-01) #2, and it seems a tad better. I'm wondering, if I choose the "standard" #1 option, if it will be lower crank time.
I'm getting the feeling that the installer didn't set any of the options. As I have gone through most of the options, it seems most of them are on default or "factory" setting.
I really appreciate the help guys. I've learned so much about the alarm system that when the installer comes back to fix it, he won't know what hit him when I check him on all these things :)

Make sure not to fuss with the install. Write down everything you want corrected and present it to them. Tach is pretty easy on that weapon, wonder why they passed it up?

Trying to figure that one out myself. I'm sure when I talk to him, he'll give me an explanation.

differant shops have differant expetations. They should have done the tach. Bring it back and tell them to fix it, it will take like 20 min tops. Find the wire, T tap or solder it, then tell the unit to learn tach.
