 Yeah not using any resistors as the outputs are 3.0v

 I've got the style of DPDT switch picked out and will grab some resistors while I'm out tomorrow.

 I have put all 15 Resistors together and now have a total ohms reading of 4.49K and is getting better but still a bit to bright...
No difference between one resistor and the 3 in series!!!
