My Camry does not have Smart Key, and I use a 40 bit key. I just installed this system, but I am missing some things. I have read all of the great stuff on here and I think I will try to give a new topic a shot.
This will be informative for most, and I will keep posting as I get this alarm 100% working. Hopefully, folks with this combo will be able to use this for their installs.
Working: Horn, parking lights, Viper alarm items
Partially Working: Car tries to start but immediately dies (ADSLACA not doing it's job)
Not Working: Locks, Trunk, Fully functional start, and pretty much everything else :-\
The problem seems to lie in the ADSLACA. I have programmed it, every thing seems great, but after the entire procedure, the light goes out and will not come back on. I have not played with it much, but I wanted to post my progress and see who else can pitch in!

are you using D2d or wire to wire
if d2d did you flash the module with dbi protocol or is it ads(will not work with the viper)
you will know the firmware is right if it begins with the DBI- instead of the ADS-
if wire to wire was used then it does not matter
to make sure that it is the bypass and nothing else have you tried to disconnect the ground while running wire(status Wire) from the bypass and just put the key in the cylinder to see if it will start

also try not to copy and past from a rich text editor like word or open office or write.
if that is a must try to copy it to notepad first then copy it again and paste here

No D2D as you can see in my connections above. I hard wired everything that I could. I had it flashed with the Camry image, but like you said, it shouldn't matter. I did try it with the key in the ignition, and it still tried to start and shut right back off. I am thinking it has something to do with the RS output blue wire not being hooked to the Starter 2 wire in the Camry. My main concern is that the light is not flashing green on the bypass module. The door locks aren't working, and I guess I just thought that the ADSALCA would take care of all of the work for me (though I'm still not sure how it could unlock the doors without any connections directly to the door wires). I suppose it could... and I just don't understand it.

i will look into it further
and the door locks are controlled by the bypass on the canbus network of the vehicle(More or less it just tell the computer to unlock the doors and computer does it)
here this will be much easier to read

you will have to connect the second starter wire on this car
on the blue starter wire you do not have to hook up the green one if you are not cutting the factory blue starter wire
make sure you diode isolate the keysense and bypass from each other. that could be causing problems for the programing when you stick the key in the ignition it trigger the bypass to turn on
also on the bypass you did select the wire to wire programing just to make sure
Posted: January 10, 2011 at 11:35 PM / IP Logged
if you do not have it diode isolated, after isolating it, i would reset the bypass and redo the programing.
make sure you have the starter 2 wire hooked up too

Not sure if the '10 is the same as the 9 but i know for the 09 i did i needed to program the idatalink module with both keys that came with the car, put the first key in turn to on remove key and put second key in (leave in off position) should get a green light if everything is installed properly. As long as you are wired from the remote start to the bypass module using the wire to wire method and not D2D you will be okMike

Why did you have to program both keys? Strange. I got it all working and I only programmed with one key. I'll have to try the other key to see if everything is ok.

Monty, thanks for the help!
I got it working, and all I had to do was connect the 2nd Starter violet wire to a relay that powers the 2nd Starter of the car (Gray). After I hooked up that wire, the Bypass Module took the program (FINALLY). I couldn't get it to take a program, but this time I got the green solid light. I immediately tried it, and it worked like a charm.
The final connections pasted below make absolutely everything work perfect. Door locks, trunk, remote start, parking lights, horn, brake, tach, everything. I hope this helps someone in the future.
