I have a 1998 cavalier do i hook up all wires on the 555L passlock ( blue/black, violet )?  My alarm (avistart 6500) has three choices not sure which to use for what wires the choices are:

#1 Accessory Remote Start (-) Input

#2 Alarm Armed Signal (-) Output

#3 Remote Start Activated (-) Output

The 2 wires in question from the passlock 555L are:

#1   Blue/Black (-) Status Input (instructions say) connect this wire to the (-) status output of the directed remote start system

#2   Violet (-) Input from Starter Relay (instructions say)connect this wire to the (-) starter output of the remote start system. This is the violet ribbon harness wire of the pre wired relay pack.

Never done a passlock before got the rest of the alarm/passlock done just waiting for some input for these wires. Car has Passlock 1  Thanks For Any Help

Yellow - Ignition side of passlock wire
Red 12v Constant
Pink Ignition input
Blue/Black Connect to Gray/Black wire

I had an Avistart a few years back. I don't remember if it had a (-) when crankin output. If it does, it would be a lot easier. I'll assume it doesn't.
You still need to connect the violet wire to a wire that provides ground only when cranking. You need to split the gray/black wire with diodes. Connect one wire to the blue/black of the 555L. The other wire will need to trigger a relay:
86 - (+) starter wire in car
85 - gray/black
87 - ground
30 - violet of 555L
