alright i got the system hooked up in my car and everything seems to be working right except for the remote start. i follwed the procedure to setup the remote start as in pull emergency brake, put in neutral, let go of brake and turn off the car. i did that and the car stayed on after i took out the key and armed the car. then when i went to start it up the lcd showed that the car was on, but the car didn't start up. the lights on the dash were all on, but it didn't start up. also my shock sensor wont work. when i arm the system the light on the communication module stay lit the starts to flash, when it starts flashing i shook the sensor those 2 little red and green light lit up, but it wouldn't trigger the alarm. please give me  quick response cause i have to go to work at 11 am tomorrow and my car is torn apart right now and its staring to get late.

you have the starter kill relay hook up on the starter wire backward.  You have to join the remote starter wire and the starter kill wire goes to the motor side and not on the key side.

i didn't put the starter kill on. it doesn't try to even crank over. the lihts on the dash come on and about 10 secs after that the remote beep saying that the remote start is cancelled. do i have to hook up the start assist(-) on the p9 harness.

What vehicle are you installing a remote starter on?  If the vehicle is not crank over, you might missed a couple wires like True Ignition or Second Ignition.

  • If the alarm chirps 2 times after you press the START button while it is running ( after the brake press and hand brake engagement ) then you exit the car, close the door and arm the vehicle. Do you press the START button again to stop the car from running or do you just let it keep running ?
  • The shock sensor has a 2 minute idle time , where it is not active until 2 minutes after it is armed. Be patient and it will work.
  • The P9 wire is not a required connection unless you have another device that you want to start the car with that give a (-) pulse to the P9 WHITE wire.

    Notes:

*1 On 2 doors, solid green w/ two silver dots.  *2 Models without a drivers side air-bag are high-current ground.  Use a relay when interfacing with this circuit.

You have a (-) trigger door system that you need to use the BLUE wire on the P10 harness. Othersie if you use the BROWN wire, it will think that the door is open all the time.
