Wiring Diagram?

How to bypass Passlock? Or whatever it may have? How to tell if it even has something?

I just installed a Viper ESP150 into my Chevy Express 3500 Van, everything was pretty straight forward. However here is my problem.

When I try to activate the remote start:

Ignition turns on, starter cranks, engine starts for ONE second, system shuts down.
When I try to activate remote start with key IN the ignition, turned to the ON posistion:
Remote starter thinks the vehicle is running....Nothing happens

When I manually start the van, then use the remote start, I can turn the key to off and remove the key, the van stays running. When I depress the brake pedal the van will shut off.

I think it has something to do with the infamous "passlock", however I am not positive. The key does not have any chip or anything, atleast not that I can visually see.

PLEASE HELP! I have gotten a huge headache over this, and would appreciate anyones help.

Thank You!

Have you tried anything with the passlock?

I don't even know if it has passlock or not? The key does not have any chip on it. This is a base model work van, no power anything, it came with a AM-FM radio only, all basic stuff. It has a 5.7L V8 if that makes any differance.

I am currently reading everything here, and trying all sorts of stuff, yet I am still coming up with no results....... :o(

I dont have the digrams in front of me but is there a security light in your instrument panel when you turn the key to ignition position?

Forgot to mention,

If I let the ESP150 go through the 3 starts by itself, then check the diagnostics, it says "low or no rpm". However I am reading 10VAC + at the senser wire, and I have done the tach program over and over again. But when I change it from tach to voltage sensing, it does the exact same thing.

I ride a X1 Lightning. Ok from your ignition switch you should have a small gauge yellow, black, and ORANGE / black.

Sweet Bike!

Ok, so what about those wires?

I just tried, for sh*ts and giggles, to remove the security fuse, I tried to manually start the van, and it did the same thing as when the remote start tries to start it, it just started for a split second then shut down. So it definantly has to do with the security system.

I don't care about the security, I don't care if it works or not, I just want to bypass it so my remote starter works! Can this be done? or am I forced to wait for some other module to arrive so that I can bypass it? I would prefer if I could just disconnect it all together.

Thanks alot for you help so far by the way! :o)
