How were you planning to connect the speakers if you DIDN'T use them?
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

well i never said i knew jack did i? hence my nick name super noob. well they come with the option to use the inline crossovers or not to. to be honest their was no friggin book in the matched set? then the website is useless no info either. ive got nothing to go on here and to be honest ive never gotten such useless info in my life.i got a book on there subs and wiring them ahhhhhhh duhhhhhhh these are 6 1/2 mids, and matched tweets? to be honest i thought of running the tweets off the crossovers. and then the mids off the amp x-overs. all my amps have better than the normal cross over controls they are all alpine. with out any info to go on im alittle lost and wized. i can get the max and min specs. but they dont have the rec specs to go with the crossovers. if im in left feild guys put it to me thats why im on these forums. to do it right the 1st, time and to do it with no f-ck ups. thanx  p.s ive sent 3 emails to audiobahn still no answer? they have scored 0 points with me. then again, i emailed infinity for my custom made box size req for a tuned box that would slam. it only took them 14hrs to respond?

Audiobahn sucks, plain and simple.

Here's what you do: Using speaker wire, connect one channel of your amp output to the input on one crossover.  Connect one tweeter to the tweeter output and one woofer to the woofer output.  Do this for each set.  Be sure to set your amplifier gain properly.

See pages 5 and 6 of your owner's manual, and if you don't have one download it HERE

You may or may not need to use the crossovers.  We really need a little more information to be able to help you.  I can only guess that you are running these speakers on a 2 channel amplifier.  If so then yes you do need to use the crossovers.  If they are going to be on a 4 channel amp or 2 seperate 2 channel amps, then you may not need to use them.  As far as your Audiobahn Speakers, YOU are the one that has to listen to them.  If YOU like the way they sound, YOU just keep on rocking with them.  I will agree that there are better speakers out there.     (Line deleted before posting)  well I better stop there before I get in trouble.
