2005 Durango

I have a 2005 durango with the basic stereo system. I am adding an amplifier but would like to know if I will have to drill through the firewall or if there is a spot I can go through. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Allen

Never mind, I went through the door jamb by the fender, that should do it, I'll post whether not I was successful, so if anybody else has a similar situation we'll know how to get past it.

You can go through the fender well, above the lining, but I wouldn't run through the door jamb.  The wire can pinch and short out.  Check to see if there's a rubber plug in that vicinity that you can run through.  I've actually removed a fender on a couple of my cars just to get better access.  I wouldn't do this on a customer's car, of course, because of all the extra time it takes.My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
