hi, may i know how to install a d1 spec 5 in 1 auto timer to a 2008 fit?

after i install and activate the timer, my door can only be lock after engine stalls...

and where is the tach wire located at???

hi all,

need to find the tach wire for my 2008 honda fit i-vtec engine,

and also anyone can guide me how to install a turbo timer.

cos after i install, i cant lock the door until engine stalls...

tach - GREEN/ ORANGE @ fuse box.

set DMM to ac and test. OR set to frequency hz and test for fluctuating numbers.

what turbo timer? you will need to tap into ignition and tach.

i just read the first post. the reason you canr lock the doors is because the car sees that the ignition is still powered, therfore the must be a key inside the ignition cylinder. only after ignition is cut will doors lock. theres no real way around this but to get a keyless entry unit

there is no GREEN/ orange...

mine is a 08 fit...

not the old model ...

its there... look around. its in a 6pin connector in the fusebox

ok thanks i will try to find...

and can you guide me on the steering column wiring colour.

as i might have connect the wrong ones.

there is white,red,orange,pink,yellow.

Battery (+) - WHITE
Ignition (+) - BLACK / YELLOW
Accessory 1 (+) - YELLOW/BLACK
Accessory 2 (+) - WHITE/ RED
Starter (+) - BLACK/ WHITE
did you even test the wires? or did you just splice into the wires?

Tach is white on one of the coils on top on da engine.

more than likely also found INSIDE the car as Teddy stated!auto timer, tach, 08 fit -- posted image.
