Yup the 571 can do all those things for you! You would have to use two seperate buttons however for window up and down via remote control, just diode both inpus to the up module band toward the alarm side!

so the 571 has 4 buttons can you program the remote start button to roll the windows down? or better yet a combo of lock+aux buttons to roll them up and then unlock+aux to roll them down it the system THAT programmable

I don't mean to double post but I can't edit yet so...
yes to what? I have read the section in the manual for programming and I cannot find how to program a multi-button command,
The manual says it only has 4 channels so I don't see how it will do what I want it to do unless....
Does the roll-up module decide when to go up and down and not the alarm itself? so pressing a button tells the alarm brain to activate the window module, but then its up to the window module to roll the windows up or down, is that correct? how does the module know where the windows are?

It's far simpler than you've posted. The GWA output (orange wire) tells the 530t to raise the windows on arming. A second aux output from the alarm will then if held for 1 sec vent the windows a couple of inches.  If held for 3-4 secs, it will open them completely. As an install tip, if your swtches are in the doors, run out both motors, I know it's more effort but you will get the full functions, i.e. one touch on both sides.

The window switches are in the center console but, I still have to run the wires through to the door for the locks, so should I still run the window wires to the motors?

No Chris, you pick them up at the switch motor wires. That comment was only if you had door switches with two (or  four) on the driver's door and one each on the passenger doors. You simply have to get "downwind" of the switches. So again easier than you thought!

oh man I'm all worried because although I have done alarms before this one says all over that its very complicated and needs to be install by a professional..blah blah blah but most of the "complxity" lies in the remote start installation (even then it doesn't seem THAT hard, maybe if it was a Cadillac or something))
