I am so use to doing Toyota and imports, I hope this was a small oversight and simple fix.

Using XK06, it learned Passlock 2 resistance according to the LED flashes on the bypass.

-Car cranks and dies, dash displays "security" in yellow.

-I start the car with the key, press remote start(remote start takeover), and same thing, dash displays "security" in yellow.

-I just put the key in the ignition(I do not turn it) and try to remote start.  Same thing, cranks starts for a split second then dies.(Don't remember if the security light came on or not)

I know I did not hook up the factory alarm disarm.  I have been so use to doing Toyotas where OEM security turns off with keysense, that I just simply forgot.

Anyone else experience this with '98-'02 GM truck/SUV?

I'm gonna assume you didn't flash the unit to plxr 3.0?

Yes, the unit was flashed with the PLXR 3.0, and the the unit was programmed before connecting ground while running.

Little bits of information I left out my OP lol.

I'd say reflash and try again. I've had to do that before with the xk06 module in the past.
