Can someone please help me on this alarm system, Viper 5701, on a Toyota 4runner?
I"m really stuck on the Heavy gauge (H3), Relay out, and H2. I'm not sure what a flex relay and how to connect it? I'm trying to research as much as possible but i'm still stuck. I'll appreciate anyone taking their time to reply.
Thanks!

The Viper supplies one Starter, one Accessory and one Ignition output from the H3 harness.  All of these outputs are (+) and capable of 30A draw.  The Viper also has a extra, selectable output called the Flex Relay.  Depending on the cars needs, you can use this extra output to supply a ACC2, Starter2 or an IGN2.  The Vipers' Flex Relay output comes defaulted to IGN2.  You can change this to ACC2 or Starter2 by changing Menu 3, Menu Item 8.

Going by the Bulldog Security wire listing, this is a general idea of the ignition wire connections for your 1995 4Runner.

All wires should be verified with a DigitalMulti Meter.

Do you think I need a "ignition 2"? what is the difference between 1 and 2?

Thanks for the reply

Yes, connect the IGN2 circuit.  I do not have the cars' wiring diagrams to tell you what IGN2 actually supplies power to, but being as the Viper comes all set up to handle IGN2 with no programming or extra parts, I would connect it.  For some reason, Toyota engineers designed the vehicles circuit that way, perhaps for load balancing or seperation.    It's only one more wire to locate, verify and solder.

The goal of installing a remote starter in any vehicle, is to allow it to start and run the exact same way it would if it was started with a key.  ( On certain GM vehicles, not connecting the IGN2 wire will cause transmission damage.)

so part of the viper diagram goes like this:
pink ignition 1(+) output- also ignition sense input "where would this go"
RED / white fused 30a (contact 87 of RS Flex relay) "RS relay? and which ignition?"
orange accessory output "where would this go??"
violet starter output (car side of starter wire)
green starter input (key side of starter wire)
Red 12V(+) constant fused 30a input (for ignition relay)
pink/white flex relay output (default is ignition2) "flex relay? default ignition 2?"
pink/black flex relay contact 87a (default is ignition 2) "is the one above the same thing?"
RED / black fused 30a(for accessory and starter relay) "where would this one go?"
Please help

Have you not actually read Kreg's posts? He's actually telling you which wire colour on the vehicle to connect to. This is now therefore a trained Monkey job, a no brainer. You could also try reading the Viper install guide properly then you wouldn't be asking those questions in your last post.

You should not need any of these for the installation on your 95 4Runner.  It does not need a bypass module or have a Factory Alarm and it has enough outputs on the H3 connector to handle all of the 4Runners ignition circuits.

The WHITE/ Brown is not used for your application.

The H1/11 White Parking Light output would go to either the RED / Black (-) Parking Light wire in the cars steering column or the Green (+) Parking Light wire in the Driver Kick Panel, your choice.   Of course, depending on your choice, you would need the set the Vipers Parking Light Jumper to the corresponding setting.
