Hi there,
I am planning to install a Viper 5904 alarm security to my car (2009 Mazda 6 V6). Do I need a Relay for the installation (i.e. for trunk realese, doors...etc)?.
Thanks,
kreg357

Don't think so, at least not for the trunk release.  Here is a link to a pictorial on a 2010 ( 2009 - 2011 should be the same).

I'll let you handle this one K. hands across the pond etc.
By the way the reason the 59XXs were never sold in the UK was that allegedly the frequencies were illegal for that form of radio control.
Anyway I'm watching American Guns.

09 and 10 the same according to Directwire.
2 relays for the locks or a 451 module plus 2 x 1N4004 diodes and a 1K resistor.
He won't need parking lights, European, direction indicators. Make the white output wire NEG (-) and connect to BLACK/ orange at the white 30 pin plug (plug 3) pin W at the BCM.
Needs 1097 and or 1021 tech tips for the door triggers, I believe they're in the Downloads/Manuals section here.

Or use a Fortin EVO-ALL.  Does transponder, locks & alarm and supplies door, trunk, brake & ebrake status plus a tach signal.  All for around $60.

Yes but K's suggestion of using the Fortin by-pass is spot on, either from Fortin in Canada or via Armour Auto UK...actually I have a trading account with them, it's a new product range for them I doubt whether anyone but R/S specialists like myself would carry the product though.
Are you with US Forces, Lakenheath air base etc.?
I've done work there before.

Thanks howie II and kreg357. I forget to mention that I also bought the Xpresskit DB-ALL bypass module. Will that work as Fortin EVO-ALL or I still need to use relays with it?.
No I work in Oil industry!...

Sorry, my brother-in-law worked for Texaco in lubricants for many years, spent lots of time in far away places, I think he preferred San Francisco to Siberia.
It's just that you appear to be on a long time assignment.
You'll just have to get used to the gasoline prices over here.
Not sure, Fortin definitely more reliable, Kregg has the answers.
