If the starter wire passes through the clutch saftey switch you will need to connect the H3 VIOLET starter wire after the saftey switch.

Im installing A  viper 5704 on a 04 Silverado and want to know what polarity + or - should i put it in? i am seeing  tha at the driver kick panel they are + brown wire and at the bcm their - gray/black wire. Also do i need to diode isolate the door triggers on this model it is a two door regular cab?

Choose which ever Parking Light wire is most convenient for you, then set the Vipers' jumper/fuse

accordingly.  ( Using the (-) Parking Light wire will draw less current thru the Viper.)

Yes, you must diode isolate the door triggers into one input for the Viper.

Soldering is fun!

Not a whole lot to connect with that install if you are going D2D.  Just the Data connection to the OBD2 Pin 2 wire.  My first thoughts would be - Is the correct firmware ( 401.GM4 ) flashed on the DB-ALL module?
