Hi there, just wondering if I could get any hints or tips. I have a 05 chevy equinox that I am installing a viper 4104 in to and I have 2 questions. First door lock wires are + polarity and the viper kit says its output is - polarity, how would i get this working? now the big one, I have everything else hooked up and ready to go but the remote start activates and i get power on ignition and 2 accessories and then lose the power on 2 accessories and then it is supposed to crank. But does not crank at all. This install says it does not require a starter output wire to crank. I am kind of lost on what to do to get this vehicle to crank with the remote start. Please any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

What bypass are you using?

You should have 2 ignitions and 1 Accessory

What wiring code sheet are you refering to? The type 6 install for the xk09 shows 2 ignitions and 1 acc.  Have you tested and verified the wires on the ignition switch with a DMM?

You will also have 2 wires from the 20 Pin xk09 connector to the starter output and the ignition 1 output of the Viper unit, on the way to the wiring harness of the car.

My apologies, there are 2 Acc and 1 ignition on that car. And no starter wire. I did one back in October using a DB-ALL  W2W.

Link to that posting:  https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp~TID~132274~KW~smokeman1~PN~1~TPN~1

Even tho the wiring show a connection to the car for starter on the DB-ALL, I did not connect it.  Follow the notes Kreg provided me,  Test the wires you are using.

Most likely the starter output from the Viper goes to the starter input of the XK09.
