I just wired up the remote start and programmed the key and the only things that work are the remote start and the trunk. The lock and unlock don't work. Any help would be appreciated. I wired it up for the dball on the install guide.

I tried the light green one and it works now. Blue is wrong I don't know why they put two different wire hook ups.

Ok I'm now having issues with the remote start not working. The remote start will only run for 2-5 minutes then won't work at all until I reset the brain. Unlock and lock still work but remote start won't even try. Does any one have the install guide from direct techs with a avital 4103 and dball 2. I'm kind of stuck.

Did you wire d2d or w2w between the 4103 and dball2? does the status light on the dball flash when you try to remote start?

I did d2d and I did not notice if the dball flashed. But I get absolutely no response from the car trying to remote start. I'm curious if the dball is to blame just cause the fact that the brain is wired to the car and not the bypass.

If the 4103 doesn't respond to the remote start command but doorlocks function then I would check, hoodpin, neutral safety, or brake, there is also a shutdown diagnostics to see what is keeping the r/s from happening, I believe the manual for the 4103 is in the downloads section.

Hood pin undone, neutral grounded, and brake not pressed. No lights flashing when shuts down.
I should have posted that before sorry for not saying earlier. But if that was the case how come the remote start is not responding. I used bullydogsecurity and xpress kit for install. I'm kinda lost on what else to do. Programmed with bit writer so I can see all settings are holding.
