I have tried wiring up the door trigger on my alarm, but it will not work. Does the alarm need to be reprogrammed or something?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks and Merry Christmas

92 nissan 240sx - Viper Esp 800. Viper anyway. I see that there is 2 black white wires. 1 one a 12 pin harness and the other on a 8 pin harness. Also my park wont flash. But my my dash lights will. What Happends - is that when I pull the seat to vaccum it pulled alot on the alarm that was mounted underneath the seat by a local shop that now went out of buisness. Thank you again

Couple more question if you don't mind?

I have aftermarket gauges that requires and Ing source. I find out that they are plumb into the constant ing source - white ing harness. Can that couse a battery drain? If, so where do you recommend I wire them into, any fused 12V source of relay box?

Also I want my alarm to have a clean wiring execution. It is wire directly to the battery. Can I use the constant wire of the radio source to keep the wiring clean and hidden? And is essentialy the same?

I have turbo as well, how can I wire that in junction with the alarm. I would like to arm the system while the turbo timer counts down? Can I use passive arming in the set up?

The orange wire is starter kill right? If so, I found that it is plumb into the ing switch power - black red - is this right? If, not where should it go?

And do I need to have the alarm reprogrammed to handle the dome light?

Thank you so much for all your help. I can't express enough how much of a help you have been, and I wish a very merry christmas.

Constant 12 volts WHITE IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Ignition 12 volts BLACK/ RED IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Starter BLACK/ WHITE IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS----you will need a relay for this wire to work.
Dome Light RED / WHITE (-) DRIVER KICK PANEL---there should be a wire marked for a neg. door trigger...
cant help you on the turbo
Good Luck

I see a thick gauged wire RED / white. I disconnected it from the harness and dome light still came on when do was opened.

There is something  plumbed into that RED / white for the alarm. Tried splicing, but again the same result.

I can't figure out what I doing wrong.

Can I use the 12volt radio constant for the alarm power. So I can stay away from the battery. What do you think, I should do.

I found the negative trigger.

I have tested postive, ground, and negative doors switch ( shows power when close switch). All shows good.

Wired to specs shown on the12volt.com

But still will not illuminate, tried to 2 different relays as well.

I should connect to alarm output - right?

I have to dome lights a + input and - output.

What you need to do is attach the alarm's (-) input wire for the door trigger to the RED / WHITE wire at the courtesy  light. The Domelight outputs you do not use as door triggers. The domelight circuit output is when you want the dome light to illuminate for you when you get out of the car and it will stay on for you for added security.

Still can't figure it out.

Tried the - output domelight.

all has failed.

The only - input I can find for a door switch is a green wire, but it is tied into something else.

What should I do? I have asked several shops and tell me the same you guys have and nothing is working.

I can tell the relay is not energizing, but I have hard tested it and it works.

Again thanks for your help.
