I just installed a Dei 561R into my friends Dodge Ram and can't get the locks to work. I pulled the wires from the connector at the driver's side door harness, ORANGE / Violet and the Pink/Violet wires, and hooked them up as the "5 Wire Alternating 12 Volts Positive Door Locks" in the relay section of this site and still nothing? Can anyone help on this matter.
Also on another note I had a Viper 550 in my '03 Jeep Wrangler and switched it out to a Viper 791xv and now the Jeep will only remote start sometimes? Well maybe 10% of the time it won't start on the first attempt. Im also having this problem with the Dodge Ram but switched it to voltage sense and now it works fine. I would like to use the tach wire on bothh vehicles if I can get it to work.
Again any help that you guys can give would be greatly appreciated.2001 Dodge Ram Door Locks -- posted image.
Thank you,

If you mean does the lock/unlock work after cutting the wires...then no they don't. I have the right wires...I just think I'm hooking up the relays wrong. Also When I tried locking/unlocking with the remote the fuse for the relay 12+ blew.Thought I had it hooked up backward but after reviewing my wiring everything looked like the picture.
Thanx,
Joel

the '03 Jeep doesn't have a coil? Does that sound right? No Spark plug wires or distributor... Thanks though... I'll recheck the Dodge lock/unlock wiring
Thank you,
Joel
