I am having a miserable time finding the Door Trigger wire in the D Pillar.  I don't see any BROWN / Pink wire.  I am installing an HT-800A and I don't think it has dome supervision.  Can I just use the ORANGE / White wire at the FEM instead for Door Trigger?  Thanks.

Yes, hopefully the note below will help you out.
FORD, WINDSTAR, 2002, Door Trigger
Door Trigger BROWN / pink    -   passenger D pillar
A diode must be placed in-line on this wire to avoid falsing problems. Cut the wire and put the cathode side away from the dome light, then tie the door trigger input on the cathode side on the BROWN / pink. On models with the puddle lamps on the doors, can also use ORANGE / white in a 20 pin plug at the FEM for door trigger. DO NOT USE THE ORANGE / WHITE FOR DOME LIGHT SUPERVISION.
Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it.2002 Ford Windstar, Door Trigger -- posted image.

Thanks.  I know this may sound like a stupid question, but if I cut the wire at the FEM to install the diode and door trigger wire, which way is "away from the dome light"?  Would that be towards the FEM?  Thanks again.

Can also use YELLOW/BLUE (-) At Under Dash Courtesy Lamp If Equipped.

This is probably the best way to describe it.

Okay.  I used the YELLOW/BLUE (-) at the courtesy lamp as you suggested Mo.  I am getting false alarms on a regular basis (about every half hour or so).  I am using an isolation diode with the anode towards the lamp.  What could be causing this?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can anyone help me with this?  Do I need a higher rated diode?

Try this on the Dome light wire:

Some units Will Drop A Low Signal Across The Dome Light And  Cause A False Trigger. To Eliminate This, Connect One Side Of 10 k Ohm Resistor To The Door Trigger wire and Connect The Other Side Of The Resister to 12 Volts.

Dome light wire or the courtesy light wire that you suggested I use?

Can someone please explain to me where to find the REM on this vehicle?  What is the passenger D pillar?
