my mate was messing with his car disconnected the alarm brain. (Valeo alarm) any way he connected it back and presto alarm LED stays on central locking isn't working and alarm is immobilised.
disconnected battery and nothing. still the same. usually when armed the led flashes he said its on solid though.
this car is honda accord derived. is accord oem alarm Valeo.
any suggestions i can't figure it out

try  close all doors, locked whit the key wait like 5 minutes and unlocke twise with the key.

do you mean unlock lock unlock
or just do the unlock motion twice

try holding in the lock button on the remote first for about 20 sec if that doesnt work try doing it with the ignition on if that dont work, suspect connections on alarm harness

u could try this,this works on uk rover 600

remove the batteries and press one of the buttons for 10 seconds then reinstall batteries unlock car with key then press the lock button 4 times on the fourth press it should re sync and lock the doors

yeah he hasn't got any remote though   apparently rover have a code. he is trying to get
just say the code is 3421
you like lock 3 times unlock 4 lock 2 unlock 1 with key in drivers door
something like that anyway will post if he gets the code

yeah i know how to do that, the rover systems are so easy to bypass so if i was him i would just disable it

just ground the one wire to bypass al together isn't it
i gave him a diagram. dunno why he disconnected the alarm ecu in the first place
