This truck is your plain Jane. No power windows/locks ect. Is the passlock a standered on all chevy models now?

I installed a valet 561r into this truck along with a 555lw passlock bypass. I ran into an issue. I double checked the bypass for all the connections and everything seems to be fine. When I go to remote start the truck I get the infamous start and die. When the key is in the ignition and turned to the run position anly then remote start it the truck will start and stay running. There is no security light on. Is this a passlock issue or did I make a possible mistake in my connections. Because of the third ign I had to wire up a relay but I do not think that this is the cause? I checked the bypass as well, I have the black wire connected to the black passlock wire, and I have the cut the yellow passlock wire and made my connections there as well. The truck starts fine with just the key. What can I be doing wrong.
Thanks in advance

yor have to catch the tach at the pcm you can not get it at the injector. it will meter and the system will learn tach but it will still die. do that i just did 1 yesterday. if the unit has shut dowm diagnostics check them and it will tell you why it shut off.

if you have a tachless setting on the unit, try that first. If it works, you know its the tach thats the problem.

Where is the tach wite located on this truck? The sheet I have is for an 05 and itsays white wire at the PCM in blue plug. I could not see this on the 06. So the tach would cause this issue not the passlock?

thanks,
