I'm trying to add a Crime Guard (Omega) AL-100C alarm system to my factory installed Remote Keyless Entry. Does anyone know where the RKE is located so I can test some wires? It looks like it is behind the Guage panel, but I hope my eyes were decieving me. Also, would anyone happen to have a wiring diagram for this install? Thank you very much for any help!
Here is the link to the online manual for my alarm system. Please be patient it is a PDF file...
Pages 5 - 11 discusses 5 different types of wiring schemes. Any clue on which one to use? I believe that type 4 will do, but type 5 is the same, except you don't need the white wire connected to the door lock switch.
And i'm assuming that the doorlock relays are built into the RKE module. Is that correct?

Thanks for the info guys and the wiring diagram. My only question though is about the wiring. According to the alarm install directions it appears that there is an unlock wire for the drivers door and then another one for the rest of the doors. Because on the factory installed keyless entry, when you press unlock once, it unlocks the driver only door, but then when you press it a second time, it unlocks all remaining doors. It appears that there is suppose to be two unlock wires, one for the drivers door and another one for the rest of the doors. But on the wiring diagram it only shows one unlock wire. Any thought? Or should i just hook up both unlock wires comming from the alarm unit to the same lock wire of the car?? Sounds like it has something to do with a double pulse on the car wiring. Is my alarm cabable of double pulsing that wire too? As i see in the wiring diagram you guys gratiously sent me, it says something about the drivers door has a double pulse and the passanger has a single pulse. Should i connected the drivers unlock cable from the alarm unit to the door unlock at the drivers kick panel and then the unlock cable for all other doors to the passengers unlock cable at the passengers kick panel? that kind of makes sense. please let me know if that will work. thank you again! and i appologize for sounding stupid, i've only installed car stereos before and i'm very cautious about touching the rest of the cars wires.
