I have a wiring question. In my clifford intellistart wiring diagram,in the h4 connector, there is the orange accessory wire, and the gray wire that goes to the heater/ac wire.In the wiring diagram for a 98 intrepid i have this
ACCESSORY /HEATER blower 1-BLACK/ orange(+)
ACCESSORY /HEATER blower 2-BLACK/ white (+)
How do i connect the orange and gray wires?

Looked at the site for the manual, and the Intellistart manual they have listed does not list an h4 connector.
The Intellistart4 does show 3 accessory outputs and 2 ignition outputs as well as starter and ignition kill connections. If this is the unit in question, then you would need 2 of the accessory wires and 2 of the ignition wires, but not the third accessory.

Lemme rephrase it.The 9 pin pigtail connector has a gray wire that is for the heater-a/c connection. What wire do i connect this to on my 98 dodge intrepid? Pin 1 is the orange accessory wire, and pin 9 is the heater-a/c.In the intrepid wiring diagram,it has accessory as BLACK/ orange and also is the heater-a/c wire.Do i take both the gray and orange wires and tie them into the BLACK/ orange wire?

After a lil more research,i have found the answer to my own question. The orange wire from the intellistart, only has to be hooked up if i want the radio to come on if remote started. The gray wire from pin 9 will go to BLACK/ orange wire that controls the heat-a/c..

mrcllusb, in your last post, you have it right about the Intrepid.
Also make note that the BLACK/ white not only powers up the radio, but the windshield wipers as well.
If you forgot and left the wipers on when you parked the car, and then everything iced up overnight....you wouldn't want the wipers stuck in the ice; the motor might get damaged.
I'll cast my vote for NOT powering the BLACK/ white on that car.

Gotcha Chris..I will only use the gray to BLACK/ orange, and tape off,or unpin the orange accessory wire..

In the vehicle wiring database on here,it gives me two different wiring diagrams for my 98 intrepid. One diagram has my vehicle as having the ignition2 wire as for the air bag light, and the other has the ignition2 wire for the transmission. Can someone clear this up for me?
