i have two different wire digarams for a 93 honda cive 2dr one has aa ignition #1 and #2 and the other has ignition #2 as the accessory wire.

if a car has positive door lock does that mean it needs a negative input

NO.............It needs a POSITIVE Pulse

1993 Civic is NEGATIVE Pulse:

Constant 12 volts	WHITE	IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS

Dome Light	GREEN/ RED	(-) DRIVER KICK PANEL
Trunk Pin Switch	GREEN WITH SILVER DOTS	(-) BLUE CONNECTOR UNDER DASH
Parking Lamp	RED / BLACK (+) AT GREEN	CONNECTOR UNDER DASH OR IN FUSEBOX
Power Lock	GREEN / WHITE	SWITCH OR DOORLOCK CONTROL
Power Unlock	GREEN/ RED	UNIT IN DRIVER DOOR

Neutral Safety	GREEN / WHITE	SWITCH ON BASE OF SHIFTER
Brake Light	GREEN / WHITE	(+) SWITCH ON BRAKE PEDAL BRACKET

Rear Window Defrost

* Tach Test Connector (White 2 Pin) Found In Driver Rear Of Engine Compartment. BLUE Tach Wire Also Found In Gray 14 Pin Connector On Top Of Fuse Block At Pin #3.
