If your looking for an easy install the Avital 5103 would be a great unit. you wouldnt need any relays or diodes for an 07 Sonata. The 5103 has a built-in starter kill/anti-grind. You can also use negative parking lights, its pink at the switch. You also dont NEED a bitwriter for any DEI products. you can program everything from the valet switch. The bitwriter just makes it easy for dealers or avid installers who do a few cars a day/week to program faster. Hope this helps

I was looking into that system as well. But for some reason comparing both intall guides the 787n seems much simpler.

Depends on what that output is normally it's a 1-400 milliamp neg and also depends on what's coming from your switch. Only you can tell us these things.

If I recall off the top of my head it is + parklights brown with orange stripe and - trunk dark blue both to left of steering column so no relays unless the unit only has - output for parklight in which case get it at the switch so you don't need a relay. If you use negative lights the lights won't flash if your light switch is set on auto lights. Make sure you turn it off if you want park light flashes.

Thanks on the info of the Auto lights didnt know that i always run them on auto. I could select + or - for the lights on the unit.  Is there a wire near the light switch thats + that ties both side of the car lights? because according to the cars wire diagrams  two relays needed to tie both sides of the car lights.

BROWN / black left side and GREEN/ black side right founded at the drivers kick panel harness to rear of car.

It should not relock on its own.   When the keyless is used on an 07 Sonata, the BCM receives an RF signal from the key fob to lock or unlock the doors; if unlock is received, and no doors are opened,  the system rearms and relocks after 30 seconds.

When you wire the APS 787, You would use the unlock/disarm signal that is generated when the door is unlocked using the door key cylinder (factory disarm/unlock, orange wire in the drivers kick panel, also the brown position sense wire same DKP area, common connection for the banded end of 2 diodes to the green unlock signal of the APS 787, one diode to the orange unlock/disarm, one to the position sense).   This does not relock the vehicle.
