actually the 2006's etc with the keyless in the key are super easy to do....you snap apart the shell and remove the back of the first key... then put it in as the first key... when you switch keys and put the second key in you just remove the little rubber membrane with the keyless and transponder chip inside... then you use this key with now nothing in it as the third key when learning the bpass module.....   doing it this way should never take longer than the required 30-40 seconds to learn a bypass module, regardless of brand.....

and as mentioned you will need a 556C not a 555C...... or equivalent....

We took apart the FOB/transponder like that and were trying to program a bypass the other day and found that it didn't even need the bypass. Wondered why we weren't getting the bypass to learn. After all was said and done it started fine with no bypass. We removed the bypass unit from the harness and closed it up. Starts everytime and I'm pretty sure it was an 06.

Guys, I'm in the middle of it now, the (-) signal for the parking lights work, the relay picks and they fire up BEFORE the car starts, than, the car won't attempt to start...gonna give it heck, but pressed for time. will check back in a few minutes...PS. NO delay for accessories either, they come on instant and I see no adjustment for this in the options, Thanks.

The 555C should work with the grey key but not the key w/keyless. The 556C is the bypass for key w/keyless. Does the r/s have a setting for deisel mode (10,20,30 seconds)? If so program to 30 sec. so you can program the bypass then set it back. This will keep the acces. hot and ignigion hot for 30 secs. That is plenty of time to program.

Did you get the bypass programmed successfully? If the unit is not attempting a start then check to make sure the brake input is not seeing +12v and the hood input is not seeing ground.
