04 chevy trailblazer dome delay problem

According to the alarm manual it can be either one. There's only one input.

Disconnect the GMDLBP's pink from the car's domelight.
As others have said, the GMDLBP's pink white will give you a non-delay-affected trigger for the two front doors, and the rear hatch.
Depending on your preference, you could either wire in directly to the two rear door triggers, or even skip them if it's not important to you.
If your Trailblazer has a factory alarm, you might consider just relying on that to protect the two rear doors, or you could just run a wire back there (I think the triggers are under the rear seat).

You can catch the rears in the boots, so one might think the could be found in the running board area.

OK, now the alarm goes off as soon as I set it. From what I can tell, the pinkwhite gives off a ground when the door is open. Is there anyway to have it give off 12 volts WITHOUT using a relay?

How exactly does your alarm know what the polarity of the door trigger is going to be? Is there a jumper somewhere that needs to be switched?

I agree there is no way your door trigger wire on the alarm is going to use the same wire unless there is a polarity switch or a setting in your programming. On every trailblazer i have ever done i have not used the door trigger wire on the bypass but just connected the gray/black positive in the truck directly to the alarm's positive door trigger, then program for the delay. I do this because i have had issues with our DEI bypasses(1700g and 457g) working correctly and not showing me an open trigger when there isn't...

OK, I found the jumper, but the delay is still killing me. The alarm is supposed to have a programming mode, but I can't find out how to get in it. I just found out that the manual I have is not for this alarm because some of the connectors it describes aren't there. Gone to do some more troubleshooting

OK, I have decided to come off of each door and diode each trigger. Question #1, where do I find these diodes and what rating do they need to have?? I have called RadioShack and they are giving me a lot of terminology that I don't understand. Can someone walk me through what I need to do here?

cant a dei 1700G1 be used on the 04 trailblazers? This should not only work the doorlocks, but also give you a proper door trigger signal all through the data port, and bypass the passlock. I think the extra money for the bypass would be worth more than the extra hassle you are going through.
